This wonderful MC449 magnifying vanity mirror has many ladies who like to get value  from a decent size  mirror when they travel, get very excited.

With a large 14cm diameter mirror and doubled sided magnification being 10x and 1 x it covers the best of both worlds. Meaning to apply makeup insert contact lenses the 10x magnification is in valuable mostly because you can see nearly all of your face without having to move around and to have a quick check that your hair is all in order just flip over to the normal 1x side of the mirror.

This magnifying Vanity and travel mirror fulfils both roles beautifully simply because of its design. The stand for the mirror can be set in any position to catch the light or get just the right angle. It can be set high or low in any fashion through the design of the foot on the mirror. Likely the very best part about this MC449 mirror is it can fold down flat and be put in its accompanying velvet bag and be taken with you on holidays.

There never or rarely anyway, seems to be the right mirror to use when you stay somewhere different than your own home. Whilst there are other options on the market most of them you need to hold onto with one hand or they don’t fold down or worse still you need to suction them on the wall – they fall down, they leave a mark on the wall or you just forget to take it when you leave.

The MC449 magnifying vanity mirror has a nickel finish and if you have not seen this before it looks like brushed stainless steel. The redeeming quality of the nickel finish is it does not show fingermarks. That makes it easily to clean. The size when folded down into the velvet bag is perfect and becomes neat and easy to pack in your luggage without taking up to much room.

I know we have spoken about this magnifying mirror as great for traveling but it is not out of place on your vanity at home, should your vanity be crowded, then the mirror can be folded down, or folded up and put away in the drawer.

Barely a day a goes by before we get an enquiry over the phone from a sales person who has the customer standing there in front of them with a question about a product – do you have any bigger magnifying mirrors or are the lighted magnifying mirrors LED, how long is the power cord that plugs the wall mounted hairdryer or how big is the mirror I want to mount my lighted magnifying mirror in a cupboard, will it fit? Hopefully this blog will go a long way to answer those questions.

We can see our new mirror brochure has been a great success and occasionally a customer chooses a mirror to purchase based on the image in the brochure. Some of the Chrome finished models look slightly gold in the printed image.  On all the model numbers for the magnifying mirrors the last letter denotes the colour of the finish on the mirror, C for Chrome, e.g. – jp7506C, G for Gold, e.g. –  HL7G,  N for Nickel e.g. –  jp808N. Photographing mirrors for a brochure is not an easy task in particular the colouration changes because of the light levels at the time.
