Today’s information is about the Wall Mounted Hairdryer Model WM6C.

This 1200 watt hairdryer has a long proven track record being in service for over 10 years in Australia. Jerdon is a US based company had until just recently, marketed these dryers under the Jerdon First Class branding. Jerdon has been working on different models and have decided to relaunch the entire range of driers as Pro Versa by Jerdon.

This 1200 watt wall mounted hairdryer is essentially exactly the same as the First Class except for the new branded logo.

Dimensions on this WM6C Wall Mounted Hairdryer are not mentioned on the downloadable PDF they are as follows-

The driers sits in a vertical position and measures vertical Height is 20cm Width is 8.7cm Overall Depth is 10.5cm.

Curly cord from cradle body to hand piece is 30cm but can stretch to 150cm (this is not normal) just its capability. The power cable will reach a maximum of 90cm from the cradle body to a power point. To shorten the length of this cord is a simple matter of using the wrap around guides in the back of the drier to adjust the cord to any length. Should you need a different set up an electrician is required to shorten the cable.

Please note if you are installing this hairdryer for the first time you should make sure the Handpiece cannot fall in any water such as the sink, bath, and toilet or be in reach where it can be used inside a shower.

Experience tells us that the location of this hairdryer is one to think about as generally your guest like to use the dryer in front of a mirror. If your mirror is located to far away guests tend to stretch the curly cord to use it in front of the mirror. It will retract but after constant use however it tends to stay stretched. If your wall mount hairdryer is in a funny position when replacing the handpiece back into the body then the small house shaped location lugs tend to get bent making it that little bit harder to put the handpiece back. Good location will avoid these issues.

The unit is built with a high heat overload switch so if it does have extended use it will cut out and normally reset after 10 minutes. The WM6C wall mounted hairdryer has a 12 month limited warranty. Meaning it does not apply to misuse or abuse but rather to material defects or workmanship. There is a full Use and Care book enclosed with every drier.

The Use and Care booklet has mounting instructions included. Wall mounting is by a steel wall plate screwed to the wall which the main body of the drier clips into. Guests would find it’s difficult if they are trying to remove the unit. Should a replacement be required you do not need to re drill the tiled wall in your bathroom to put up the new dryer. The steel bracket design has not been changed so just unclip your old drier and place the new one on the same bracket. This wall mounted hairdryer WM6C has a removable hair and fluff filter on the rear remember it will operate a lot better with a clean filter.

The strongest selling point for these Wall Mounted Hairdryers

If they are setup in the correct position then you should get over 5 years service. This is pretty good for a hospitality drier which tend to get broken and stolen more often that other items in the room. Simplicity for the guest is always the best thing for tired travellers. Being a wall mounted hairdryer they are seen as a fixture and not be mistaken as their own and it get packed in the bag and leaves your property.

This dryer has a proven track record and has been in service for more than 10 years here in Australia. Jerdon a US based company had until just recently, marketed these dryers under the Jerdon First Class branding. Jerdon has been working on different models and have decided to relaunch the entire range of driers as Pro Versa by Jerdon.

This 1500 watt wall mounted hairdryer is essentially exactly the same as the First Class except for the new branded logo.

To update you on the dimensions of this WM5C Wall Mounted Hairdryer seeing it’s not on the downloadable PDF they are as follows-

Height is 14cm Width is 17cm Depth is 9cm .Curly cord from cradle body to hand piece is 30cm but can stretch to 150cm (this is not normal) just its capability. The power cable will reach a maximum of 150cm from the cradle body to a power point. An electrician is required should you wish to shorten the cable. Please note if you are installing this hairdryer for the first time you should make sure the Handpiece cannot fall in any water such as the sink, bath, and toilet or be in reach where it can be used inside a shower.

The unit is built with a high heat overload switch so if it does have extended use it will cut out and normally reset after 10 minutes. These dryers are not meant to dry someone’s wet shoes; the melted nozzle is a giveaway when trying claim warranty. Speaking of which the WM5C wall mounted hairdryer has a 12 month limited warranty. Meaning it does not apply to misuse or abuse but rather to material defects or workmanship. There is a full Use and Care book enclosed with every drier.

The Use and Care booklet has mounting instructions included. Wall mounting is effected by a steel wall plate screwed to the wall which the main body of the drier clips into. Guests would find it’s difficult if they are trying to remove the unit. Should a replacement be required you do not need to re drill the tiled wall in your bathroom to put up the new dryer. The steel bracket design has not been changed so just unclip your old drier and place the new one on the same bracket. We think that’s a little easier than builder who glued the driers to the wall in a new motel this year.

The strongest selling point for these driers is the fact it simply sits in cradle not needing any location points to activate a switch to operate the drier. Simplicity for the guest is always the best thing for tired travellers. Being a wall mounted hairdryer they tend to stay in the room after the occupancy has finished. The same cannot be said for the free hand held units which can sometimes be mistaken as their own and it’s packed in the bag and leaves your property.

We managed to get a hold of a pic of the ProVersa branding for the Wall Mounted Hairdryer.

Welcome to JKSALES new blog.

We decided by putting up this blog it was the best way to pass on extra information about our magnifying mirrors and other products in a more extended format. Barely a day a goes by before we get an enquiry over the phone from a sales person who has the customer standing there in front of them with a question about a product – do you have any bigger magnifying mirrors or are the lighted magnifying mirrors LED, how long is the power cord that plugs the wall mounted hairdryer or how big is the mirror I want to mount my lighted magnifying mirror in a cupboard, will it fit? Hopefully this blog will go a long way to answer those questions.

Look for information on the magnifying mirrors by using the side menu

Choose a category that will answer your questions. If it’s a measurement question about a magnifying mirror then you will find it in mirror measurements along with the model number you are looking for.

We can see our new mirror brochure has been a great success and occasionally a customer chooses a mirror to purchase based on the image in the brochure. Some of the Chrome finished models look slightly gold in the printed image. On all the model numbers for the magnifying mirrors the last letter denotes the colour of the finish on the mirror, C for Chrome, e.g. – jp7506C, G for Gold, e.g. – HL7G, N for Nickel e.g. – jp808N. Photographing mirrors for a brochure is not an easy task in particular the colouration changes because of the light levels at the time.

Please keep checking back as we will update this blog on a regular basis.

Well its now time to get busy and get up to date, come visit us occasionally and see what’s new in magnifying mirrors, hairdryer range and we’ll do our best to keep you updated with all the latest news products and possibilities.

Regards
